The Spiderman pinball table was produced by renowned Chicago manufacturer Stern Pinball Inc. from 2007 onwards with a production run of just 500 units, and is described by some pinball fans as one of the greatest tables they ever manufactured.
Of particular note is the outstanding artwork, the cool lighting effects and the fabulous sound quality – something which is often sadly lacking in older machines. Amongst several unique features, the playfield incorporates three motorised toy figures which move up and down and a special magnet that simulates a ‘fusion malfunction’ by momentarily retaining the ball.
The limited run is expected to make this a future collector’s item but in the meantime the fast moving gameplay and screaming electric guitar riffs will be sure to blow away the cobwebs! This is an ex-display model and has therefore seen very little use.
